FALSE

Another mayor from Camarines Sur has disowned the press release claiming that 11 local chief executives from the province of Vice President Leni Robredo support the presidential bid of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

In a statement on Jan. 22, 2022, Sipocot Mayor Tomas Bocago explained why he was included in the group photo with Marcos that was used to support the false statement in the press release.

Bocago said he has always been clear about his position and beliefs, citing the contributions of Robredo’s husband – former Naga City mayor and interior secretary Jesse Robredo – to his political principles.
