A Facebook page claimed that Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. was the author of the House bill that created the (National Youth Commission).
The claim needs more context.
Upon checking with the House Legislative Information Service (Legis), the principal author of House Bill (HB) 11614 was Rep. Jaime Lopez of the second district of Manila.
The LEGIS also lists 59 congressmen as co-authors of the bill, with Marcos, Jr. among them.
