The Facts: A Facebook post from the page ‘SG Bantay Kasaysayan’ claims that Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan refused to disclose their Statement of Contribution and Expenditure (SOCE) to the public.

The post also contains a supposed quote from Leni Robredo who said “Para sa akin, kailangan iyong transparency. Kailangan iyong transparency para lahat alam ng tao. Kaya iyong ginamit namin na mekanismo ay iyong ballpen, iyong tinta, ay transparent. Iyong transparent ink ang pinangsulat namin sa SOCE ko.”

This is false

Robredo and Pangilinan have already filed their Statement of Contribution and Expenditure (SOCE) to the Commission on Election (COMELEC) on June 7, a day before the appointed deadline.

There are no records of Robredo saying that quote mentioned in the photo. The statement came from a satirical page named ‘Philippine Daily New Society’ and the graphic was labeled “Satire only” below with the tagline “News you can’t trust”
