NEEDS CONTEXT

Cher, one of the rare artists going by a single name, has a Twitter account with almost 4 million followers. Last week, she set the Twitterverse afire with her Valentine’s Day tweet (2 am of February 15 in the Philippines): “IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT….LET A WOMAN DO IT.”

She didn’t give background about her tweet but apparently she was watching the half-time show of the National Football League Superbowl and was most probably referring to her good friend Mary J. Blige, the only female among the all-star cast in the halftime show.

But people have other interpretations.

Remarkably, 34 thought it was about VP Leni Robredo. Not all were positive as four were negative about Robredo.

Cher only replied once — to a gay couple — and said: “BRAVO‼️KEEP DOIN WHAT YOU’VE BEEN DOING.”

Probably overwhelmed, Cher later tweeted: “Will have to come back. Got rough headache, But When I Eat It Should Go Away”

It was when she came back after dinner, when Cher defended U.S. President Joe Biden in a single tweet before tweeting: “Excuse Don’t Know Leni.”

It was retweeted 9,337 times and liked 60,300 times. Also 1,794 commented, now mostly Filipinos. Some introduced VP Robredo to her while some in the opposite side vilified her to Cher.
