Hindi totoo ang pahayag ni Alex Magno sa kaniyang opinion column kamakailan na walang dinaluhang debate si dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III noong siya ay kumakandidato sa pagkapresidente noong 2010.

Sa kaniyang column na inilathala ng The Philippine Star noong January 27, 2022, isinulat ni Magno na: “No one remembered that Noynoy Aquino did not participate in the 2010 debates.” 

Pero taliwas sa akusasyon ni Magno, hindi bababa sa tatlong presidential forum at debate ang dinaluhan ng yumaong pangulo.
