FALSE

CLAIM: Those who will vote for former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte should shade the oval found on the right side next to their names.

RATING: False

Twitter user @thinktranspinay posted on May 8 a screenshot of a sample ballot that maliciously instructs supporters of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte to shade the ovals found on the right side of their names.

The post is from a satirical account (the post contained hashtags supporting both the Marcos-Duterte tandem and Vice Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo), but its erroneous instruction is clear disinformation that could affect the voting process; thus we rate it FALSE.
