CLAIM: Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa was arrested by the International Criminal Court and was brought to the Netherlands.

A YouTube video posted by “Viral TV” falsely claimed that Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has been apprehended by officials from the International Criminal Court and brought to the Netherlands.
The video title read, “Bato Dela Rosa, HINULI na ng ICC! PINATAPON na din sa Netherlands!” (Bato Dela Rosa, arrested by the ICC! Sent to the Netherlands), accompanied by a video thumbnail of men in police uniforms supposedly arresting the senator, next to another photo of an emotional Dela Rosa.
However, the first photo used to support the false claim was a cropped picture taken from the court arraignment of Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Quiboloy at the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 159 on Sept. 13 last year. Quiboloy’s figure was edited to look black and white.
The thumbnail showing an emotional Dela Rosa was taken on Sept. 5, 2017 during a Senate hearing over Kian Delos Santos’ killing while Dela Rosa was chief of the Philippine National Police.
