A YouTube channel uploaded a video on June 10, falsely claiming that tension arose between Sen. Robin Padilla and Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa over the issue of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment.
The video is titled: “Bato Dela Rosa at Robin Padilla, NAGKAINITAN dahil kay VP SARA DUTERTE! Chiz Escudero NAPAIYAK!”

The video featured an edited version of Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s press conference held on June 9, which does not support or verify the claim made in the title.
The thumbnail images of Padilla and Dela Rosa were also taken out of context. These images were sourced from unrelated Senate hearings held in July 2023 and March 2024, respectively.
As of writing, no reports confirm any tension or conflict between Padilla and Dela Rosa concerning the impeachment proceedings of Duterte.
